Seriously, Work Can Wait

Sometimes work can wait.

Sometimes it's time to just sit down and enjoy a cup of tea...

To let the mind wander off while taking a sip of some glorious decaf chai...

Sometimes work can wait, you see?

Sometimes it's about creating that sense of hygge or gemutlichkeit for ourselves.

Telling those racing thoughts that they have no home here.

That in reality, that thing does not have to be done.

Acknowledging that the never ending to-do list you've created for yourself was to fulfill this desire to be loved or to be accepted because today's world values productivity.

Sometimes it's time to tell your work it can wait...

Because life is better lived when we're happy...

When we're rested...

When we return to our work because we love it not because we have to.

Sometimes we have to say no to work and yes to ourselves.

And if the answer is the same - yes to myself means yes to work then, by all means, please work.

But if for some reason they're different...

If for some reason you find yourself tired or anxious or overwhelmed...

Sometimes it's best to say no to your to-do list and say yes to yourself...

Sometimes it's time to be selfish.

Because the world doesn't want your leftovers, they want you in all your glory.

You deserve to experience YOU in all of your glory.

Leftovers are selling yourself and the whole world short.

Are you exhausted? Tired? Overwhelmed?

Have you convinced yourself that doing just one more task will make everything better? ..make the anxiety go away? ...make the overwhelmed settle down?

Have you convinced yourself that doing that last task will change your life when all it is, is checking your QuickBooks or responding to social media comments?

It's time to be selfish. It's time to say yes to you, so you can wholeheartedly say yes to the world.

And if you don't know how that's okay. I was once there too.

It's normal, in fact, but it doesn't have to be that way.

Because I've got an opportunity for you - take it if you wish...

An opportunity to connect with someone who gets you.

To support you in saying FUCK LEFTOVERS.

To support you in saying YES to you in all of your glory.

Because you deserve it and so does the world...

If this resonates, I'm telling you, it's time to RISE.

And, it's time for us to connect.

Because fuck leftovers.
